I have to share something........why the toilet is SO COLD??????? really....i avoid going to the toilet as far as i can......i only go when i really, really, really need to! hehehehe...

the new floor of the kitchen.....

Ok! The floor of the kitchen was screaming for changing since he survived through a lot of things! The landlord decided to change it, finally!!! He asked Gelu if we had preference of colour....ok, nice of him doing that...BUT what we could not imagine: 1. the mess that the people who came to put it, did in the house, as Gelu told us, was gray dusty EVERYWHERE and 2. that he would put an outside floor material, it is NOT a smooth one....my god....look why we are so disappointed....imagine to clean this floor...i had to share this with you all!!! hehe...beijos Gabi

Incredibly enought I have just found out about the blog.. and I have to say I really love it.. Oh my god it is so funny and bring alive so many memories.. Once again I am in Sussa today in a sunny London day..

As you all know I have never been a real Sussa Hostel Member but let's say I have been a guests many times during the years.. The composition of the house has changed but the main principle has always been the same.. Nice people that likes having fun and a place that no matter what you do ( also just watch a movie) you will always feel home and you will always have fun..

Let's take a recent example.. Yesterday night..I came over after the gym ( YES YES I have subscribed to the gym and I am going regularly , isn't it incredible???!!!!) .. We had a bit of a chat and then I m not sure how, when and why.. and who was responsible for the idea we start doing karaoke with backstreet boys, spice girls and so on.. Oh my god.. thanks God no one recorded but how we laughted!!! SO much fun I was almost crying.. and I have to say , sorry girls, Gabi is definielly the best one , seriously a talent!!

Anyway let's get straight to the point.. No matter where you are now, no matter how far you are, if you have been a part of Sussa hostel, you will have special memories liked to this place.. It is a difficult period, most of us are so far way and once again things will probably change, but in our heart we all know that trought Sussa hostel we all have met wonderful people , people you can trust and will be friends forever.. So what I wanted to say is just BE POSITIVE and EVERYTHING IS GOING BE ALRIGHT..

Okay people,

5 weeks more and we can 'rock the city of LONDON' again ..

as you people know, most of the Sussa.hostel crew are in London in the last week of November. i hope also Fabio, Jess and Rapha & Raffa will be there. The party organization can start preparing for this week/weekend.

It is also the birthday of Italian Mafia Angelo. So, we are expecting Italian visitors from Brindisi :)

This is the topic for all your suggestions, creation and advise. Let's make a huge event all together... because Ram is feeling THIRSTY ..

It's gonna change!

It was a day like any other is Sussa Hostel... at that time I was still a special guest and German was with us...
Suddenly (well not so suddenly actually, but I like this word to introduce the sentence!) Raffa moreno came with a proposal...
People let's go to Ministry of Sound!!!

Fabio, Ram and German accepted the suggestion with enthusiasm, and they all booked their ticket straight away!
Me and Gelu were a little bit halting. Now, we heard a lot about Ministry of Sound, how cool it was and how famous, and even "u have to go at least once in your life!", but also heard that the music was alomost 100% TUM TUM TUM - sound of Tecno-House music beating the neurons of your head! - and we quite didn't like it...

It was an hard decision... We really wanted to go out with the guys, but house... KE PALLE!
Gelu used the right words to convince me...
"Vale, do not worry! I have the solution... Let's book the ticket and u'll see u'll love tonight eventought the music is a shit!"
So people we made it... we booked the ticket at around 7 p. m.

The next step was the explanation and application of Gelu's solution.
She went in the kitchen and come back with a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge glass of cocktail vodka based - actually I am still not sure if there was something more than vodka in that glass!!!
Explanation time: "We r gonna get so drunk, but sooo drunk, that we will love the music! =) "
So the plan was done, and we started to apply it!
1st glass...
2nd glass...
3rd glass...
Many glasses later we were happy enough... and so ready to go out!

We finally reached the disco, and our first objective was there... the bar! A tequila!!!
We were still not drunk enough 4 thecno music!
But paying attention to the music we realized it was very nice... it was Hip-hop, R&B, commercial... we did like it!
me and Gelu looked each other in the eyes... "It will change soon!!! better hurry and get more drinks!!!"
And each beer the music was nicer and nicer, but we really wanted to be ready to the music change moment... so we went ahed!
We had an objective and we didn't give up! - brasilian influence I guess...
so... Another one?! - it was our GRIDO DI BATTAGLIA!!! (litteraly translated... Warrior scream?!)

Well i remember the 3rd or 4th beer... the rest it's confusing... - and I don't remember the other beers!
I remember me and Gelu running 4 the place laughing...
Then the 2 of us spinning around...
and me desperate because Gelu was drunk! - clearly there were no mirrors in the place! =P
And my last memory is of Gelu leaving sign of her passing trough close to the bus stop... i was nice enough to wait until home! =)

So what we learned from this story!?
If u are with good friends doesn't matter how drunk you get... u will always reach home safe!
And if you don't remember how you arrived in your bed... well be sure they'll bring u there! =)

But... people... please help us to remember... we want testimonials - and may be pictures - of Ministry of Sound... Any contribute to build the memory of that night will be precious! =P

The secret - The making off

Ok! I know i'm not suppose to post until everyone of the first version of sussa hostel, or sussa house as Ram say, post! hehe...but i had to put this video of the effort and dedication of bonitinha to write something here! Because you know, she is the heart of sussa hostel, she was here since the beggining and is here until now! but it doesn't mean that she is the oldest one, nooo, it only means that she is a important person here! hehehe..anyway! here we go! BACIO!!

The Secret...ssshhhhhh!

This is based in a true story as the book "The Secret".

Erase una vez una princesa en busca de su principe azul... (It was a long time ago a princess looking for the blue prince...) jaja! The nice stories always start like this, no? ;-) our story is nice but this beginning doesn't match. I should say: Erase una vez un chupito de tequila... (It was a long time ago a shoot of tequila...) better?

Now seriously, I will tell you how to make new friends, I will tell you The Secret...

We were in the second week in the Uni and it was unbelivable, at least for me, that no one has proposed to go out all together. I thought "Come on! I'm getting bored with these people, I have to do something to solve it! It cannot be possible that only Spanish think about party" and it was when I started to say in the class that we were going out on Saturday to Walkabout in Leicester Square.

Saturday arrived and a lot of people were supposed to be there. I was excited, new people, new potential friends. I arrived to Walkabout a little bit late and I recognized a tall guy with a SHIRT and a small girl. They were Fabio and Noe. After a while two more people, arrived to the place, Ram and Lala. It is true! We appeared only 5!! can you believe it?

We went inside quickly to break the ice. You know, outside you have to talk and at least inside you have music and always you can dance, or try to dance...jaja! We were looking each other in a shy way, without know what to talk about. We were really polite and trying to like each other. Even Fabio wore a shirt for this special occasion! It was the only time that I had the chance to see him so formal to go out even if I tried really hard to see him so posh again.

Finally, after a while someone said what everyone was thinking. LET'S HAVE A SHOOT!?

If I don't remember bad it was Noe who was enough brave to suggest it. And of course, we accepted it! We ordered 5 tequilas and when we paid we realised that we were in London, not in Viveiro...jaja! each tequila was almost £3! All we were shocked... and then the official paparazzi of the group decided to take a picture of the shoot to remember it all our lives. After cheers and drink it, we relaxed and the night became so perfect that when we said goodbye we knew that that night was the start of something good.

Well, did you get The Secret?... Drink to make new friends! It is clear, no? tsc, I'm joking!

Drinks can help you to make new friends, but only for the parties...to create a real friendship, you have to be like you are, funny, sensible, happy, friendly, honest and above all a

GOOD PERSON! All of us we are, that's because we became so good friends. That's because we will be friends forever.

depot of PUKE ??

mamma mia..
good idea Gabi, finally the sussa.house blog. Since Fabio wrote about the first day at Sussa.house i would like to write something about the most disgusting night in the sussa.house history. Yesss, everyone knows where i am talking about.

How can our beautiful house change in a depot of PUKE ??

The night started in a friendly and social environment with friends over Italy, Brazil, Spain and unusually Holland. After couple of drinks, the group in the kitchen get bigger and bigger. We finished our drinks quickly and start with the new ones. Beer, caipirinha, wine, southern comfort, bacardi and more... The first / starter puke came from Ram. Proudly i can say, i didn't made i mess and went to the toilet. The rest followed. Fabio started to create new Islands on the world map. Alessandro showed us "how to sleep on the toilet door". Danial and Milena with the basket in their hands, to catch the puke... And many others had the same ritual in that night.

Oh my god, i will never forgot the smell in the house next morning. It smelled like coffin. Maybe 15 people were sleeping in the sussa.house and almost everyone had a white face. It felt like everyone was still in the alcohol coma from the night before.

I hope i can add some video's to remember that night or maybe not :p Also check this video to have some fun and beaware for the next time ;) but avoid it... Get drunk people, we gonna make it again in November !!

Inaugural Post

Hi Everyone

It is with great pleasure that I am posting the first post of Sussa Hostel. This is a great idea to remember all the details of this wonderful place that made our lives much better. 

I would like to tell my version of how we found Sussa Hostel Headquarter. I remember Gelu and I at the Uni calling for landlords and real State agencies looking for apartments. We found a very nice one also in Bermondsey. I think it was the destiny to stay there. There was also a backyard to do barbecue. It would be so funny. But we lost this one. Then we went to another place near Iceland to check another one. It was over a fruit store. It was completely a mess. It was completely dirty! Look out the pictures. There was a good point. It was the fruit store. It would be so much easier to do caipirinha in this house! But we would live completely drunk always! ajajaja

After this place, we were getting upset because we couldn't find any nice place. Finally we called a real state agency and we arrange to check another one in Bermondsey. When we arrived, we thought it would be far from the tube. But for our surprise it was just in front of. A positive point. I loved the name of the road: JAMAICA ROAD....

As soon as we entered in the apartment, we liked it! And immediately we made a deal. Oh my God! so much money...It worth a lot! The house was amazing and new refurbished:
